i woke up this morning, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. it was a wonderful feeling. anyhow, i was browsing through the internet this afternoon and something really interesting caught my eyes for a moment. well, according to an article i read at www.gizmodo.com.au, it mentioned that 2009 will arrive one second late. what it actually means is that, 2009 will onli arrive at 12.00.01 am tonight. i wondered what's up with this time adjusting thingy. as i read further down, the change is to adjust the time for the minute slowing of the earth's rotation. hit the link above if u'd love to have a peep at the remaining part of the article. seriously, this world is changing. the weather is different and unpredictable. and for now, even the earth's rotation has gone retarded. i wonder what other phenomenons will occur next.
i guess tonight everyone will be out somewhere to watch fireworks lighting up the dark sky. some others might just be hanging out with a bunch of friends and just talk cock to usher in the new year. lol. whatever it is, have a jolly good time.

It's the 30th of December today, which brings us very much closer to the end of year 2008. well, 2008 was definitely a memorable year. there was a couple of setbacks here and there, but overall, it was a wonderful year. things were also different this year, being here in adelaide has taught me plenty of stuff, gained lots of new experience with the new environment and all. anyhow, 2008 is coming to an end in approximately another 30 hours. i'll welcome year 2009 with my arms wide open and keep my fingers crossed that 2009 will be a much better year. alrite, i guess i should stop acting so serious. lol. going into something else, the movie titled 'Death Race' is a pretty awesome movie. i guess u should really watch the movie urself to tell. below is the trailer i got from YouTube. so, enjoy peeps.

christmas night

hello peeps. how should i begin? well, it has been a while since a last proper update. it's not that i dont want to post up a much needed proper update to spice up this column of mine, it's just that there werent anything new or special that happened throughout this period of time. anyway, i shall try my best to chuck in some photos that I have got.

firstly, let me check out what have i got....

alrite, got something... rewinding a couple of days back, christmas day, just a simple christmas dinner.

so, below is our food for that night



after dinner, it was the Big2 game. the losers have gotta drink half of what they got in their cup.
our drinks for the nights were: 2 Budweisers, 1 Carlton Dry, 3 Tooheys, 1 Muscat, 1 Grampps (forgotten the spelling, forgive me for that)

at the beginning of the game, everyone was all steady. but well, we'll never know what will happen at the end. that's life people. lol.





after quite a number of rounds, u can see the effect of alcohol kicking in. eyes started to get blurry, heartbeat is a lot faster than normal, etc..

and there u have it, the end result.... feeling super tipsy and almost wasted. lol.



alright then folks, i think this post can be considered as a proper update. so another time, another day, i think i'll have something better to post up. till then..

how was ur day today?

i did some packing up recently, or to be more specific, tidying up my messy table. textbooks from previous semesters are kept in a plastic bag to put it up for sale later. lecture notes from previous semesters are dumped into the rubbish bin for them to get recycled. for the wires, i'm having a hard time trying to tidy them up. the wires are like all over the place and it gets tangled up all the time. one thing i really hate is the fact that dust tends to pile up. i clean my table every now and then, but it gets really annoying when i notice that the table gets dusty all over again in like... maybe 2-3 days. the lights along the staircase aint working anymore and it is so dark down there. there are times when i head down to collect my laundry bags and the pitch black darkness almost freaked the living daylight out of me. but still i'm too lazy to head to Rundle Street to fill up the maintenance form to get it fixed. well, Rundle Street is not too far, but it's not so near as well. alright then, my mind is blank. i promise a more meaningful post next time.

it was a trip to Glenelg once again
basically nothing much there
a beach, a few oyster shops, a few ice cream shops
and other shops that one can easily find at rundle mall
so yeah, how was the trip if u ask me??
well, i dont really know
it was alright i suppose
coz it was the third time i went there
anyway
